Cory & Ashlee 04.05.2019
The three key ingredients of wedding perfection are a gorgeous couple, a stunning venue and amazing weather, all of which came together so perfectly for the wedding of Cory and Ashlee, it was like it was written in the stars. Together with their two beautiful children, surrounded by their family and friends, these two wonderful souls exchanged their vows on our private beach followed by a fun filled reception on our newly refurbished private lawn. It was such a pleasure to work with Cory and Ashlee on piecing together their perfect day, with a clear vision of what they wanted, and a laid back approach, each and every detail was carefully thought through with so many heart felt inclusions such as their signing slab which was hand sanded by Cory’s grandfather for all the guests to sign. Officiated by local celebrant Donna Fornasiero their ceremony included a sand pouring with sand from the very beach they were married on.
Seven Years ago, the universe conspired to bring two wonderful people together. After several nights out hanging with mutual friends and partying till the early hours of the morning, Cory collected the courage to ask Ashlee out on a date, which led to a weekend away on the beautiful Hamilton Island where their connection and bond to one another grew exponentially.
Surrounded by 85 of their closest family and friends, Cory and Ashlee danced the night away under a canopy of fairy lights on the private beach lawn. Entering through a tunnel of sparklers to their chosen song “Follow me” Cory led his beautiful bride to their table with the crowd erupting into cheers and laughter, a beautiful start to what was an incredible evening. Under the cover of their teepee, guests enjoyed a sumptuous 2 course meal chosen by the bride and groom finished off with the most divine wedding cake (pictured)
The future is bright for these two and their wonderful little family, from all the team at Freedom Shores we wish you both all the best for the future.
